What moving helpers cost in Leipzig

You pay by the hour with us: 25 €/hr per helper. So two helpers cost 50 € per hour. If you have no vehicle, a driver with a van costs 30 €/hr extra.

For a whole flat, the package with two people and a van often pays off: 289 € for three hours. We give the fixed price after a few photos.

Rented a van? Then helpers are enough

The most common case: you have rented a van or are driving yourself, but you are two people short to do the carrying. That is exactly what moving helpers are for: we come without a vehicle and get stuck in.

• Carrying through the stairwell, even without a lift
• Loading so that nothing shifts, blankets and straps are ours
• Unloading and carrying everything into the right rooms
• Wardrobes and beds dismantled and reassembled for 35 €/hr
• Washing machine, fridge and other heavy items
• Piano or safe only by arrangement

How many moving helpers do you need?

The number of helpers depends less on square metres than on stairs, heavy items and whether everything is packed.

We are a family-run crew and come as two. If you need three people, we will tell you when you enquire how that can work on your date. Often it is also enough if someone from your side helps carry.

Moving helpers: a crew or private helpers?

For a few boxes to the next house, friends are often enough. For a whole flat the comparison is worth it, because the price per hour is not the only difference:

• Invoice: For a private move, the labour cost of moving helpers can be deducted from your tax as a household-related service (haushaltsnahe Dienstleistung), but only with an invoice and a bank transfer. More under deducting moving costs.
• Equipment: We bring blankets, straps and tools.
• Damage: We are liable for damage we cause within the limits of the law. We do not have goods-in-transit insurance (Güterversicherung), and we say so openly. With private helpers, it is best to clarify this yourself beforehand.
• Reliability: Whoever agrees, turns up. You talk directly to the people who do the carrying.

We come to all districts of Leipzig, for example to Plagwitz, Gohlis, Connewitz, Südvorstadt and Grünau. We also work in Markkleeberg, Taucha, Schkeuditz and Halle — within 50 km of Leipzig we charge no travel.

Just message us on WhatsApp or fill in the request below. If the day is free, we will come, by arrangement also early in the morning, in the evening or on Saturdays. We keep Sundays and public holidays free.

Our aim is to reply on WhatsApp within 10 minutes, Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm. If we happen to be standing in a stairwell with a wardrobe, we get back to you as soon as our hands are free. We also speak Russian and Ukrainian.
