Furniture movers in Leipzig — people who actually carry
Our movers cost €25/hr per person, with our own van €30/hr — the package «2 movers + van, 3 hours» costs €289. We carry, pack, load and put everything back together at the new address — blankets, straps and tools come with us.
Movers only, or movers with a van?
Many people do not need a whole removal company — they need two people who can lift and carry. If you have already rented the van, we come as the muscle. If not, we bring our own: no rental desk, no deposit and no question of who drives.

What we bring without being asked
The difference between movers and two strong friends is less about strength than about kit. Getting a sofa down a narrow staircase is a question of straps and angles, not muscle.

For floors without a lift there is a surcharge of +€3/m³ per floor . We say so beforehand, so nothing appears on the invoice that we have not discussed.
How many people you need
The most common question before a move is not the price but how many people are needed. A rule of thumb from practice:
Two movers are enough
- 1–2 room flat — guide price from €470
- A lift, or no higher than the second floor
- You have packed in advance
- No special items like a piano or a safe
Three is better
- 3 rooms or more — guide price from €930
- Third floor or higher without a lift
- Many heavy items: solid wood, washing machine, fridge-freezer
- Everything has to be done in one day
Three moves, the way they really go
The figures are labour only, without materials. They show what the total depends on: floor, volume and whether you packed in advance.
1 room, second floor, lift
A student move within Leipzig. The boxes were ready in the hallway, the bed and desk had to come apart. Two people, three hours including the drive.
2 rooms, third floor, no lift
The sofa would not go round the turn of the stairs, so it went over the banister on straps. Washing machine from the third floor. Four hours with two people.
3-room family flat
A wardrobe and two children’s beds came apart and went back together at the new address. Three people in one day instead of two people in one and a half.
How to save money on movers
We charge by the hour — every minute not spent searching stays with you. In practice these things help most:
- Pack and label in advance, and gather the boxes in one place
- Take small items and valuables yourself — then nobody has to keep an eye on them
- Apply for a no-parking zone if there is never a space in front of the building: shorter walks save more than the zone costs
- Move on a weekday if you can — Saturdays and month-end slots go first
- Sort out anything you do not want beforehand: what we do not carry costs nothing
