Garden care in Leipzig – tidy all year round
One big tidy-up or ongoing upkeep — we do both. With our own machines and, what matters most to most people, the green waste leaves with us.
We speak German, Russian and Ukrainian. Written English on WhatsApp works perfectly — send your request as a message and we will reply.
One big tidy-up, or kept in shape
Some gardens need one serious session a year, others a short visit every two weeks. We do both. On the first visit we look at the plot and say what needs doing now and what can wait — usually less than people fear. If you want, you then get a fixed rhythm: mowing every fortnight, hedges and cutting back in spring and autumn, snow clearing in winter. If you only want it done once, that is exactly what you get, with no contract and no follow-up you did not ask for.
We work with our own equipment — mower, brush cutter, hedge trimmer, chainsaw and a shredder when needed. And we take the green waste away. That is the point where most do-it-yourself plans fall apart: three cubic metres of hedge cuttings do not fit into an estate car, and the trips to the Wertstoffhof eat more Saturdays than the cutting itself.
- Lawn mowing, scarifying, edging
- Hedge trimming, shaping and thinning out
- Felling or cutting back trees and shrubs
- Weeding, clearing beds, paths and terraces
- Collecting and removing leaves
- Green waste transported away and disposed of properly
Tree felling and heavy cutting back
Larger trees need experience, the right technique, and a sense of which direction a trunk may actually fall when a fence, a garden house and the neighbour's plot are all in the way. Here we deliberately work slowly and in sections rather than in one cut.
There is also a legal side that many people underestimate. Leipzig protects trees above a certain trunk circumference under its Baumschutzsatzung, and between 1 March and 30 September a nationwide closed season applies to hedges and shrubs: heavy cutting back and removal are not permitted then, while a gentle shaping and maintenance cut is. We tell you before the appointment whether your plan fits inside those limits or needs a permit, rather than leaving you to explain it to the city afterwards.
- Felling trees, taking down crowns, cutting up trunks
- Crown maintenance and thinning
- Removing shrubs and old hedges
- Digging out stumps by arrangement

Prices for garden work
Garden work is charged by time and area, disposal by volume. A few photos and a rough square-metre figure are usually enough for a quote. For regular upkeep we agree a fixed price per visit so you can budget for the year — and we hold it, even when June grows faster than September.
For property managers and owners' associations we quote for the whole season including winter service. That normally works out cheaper than individual call-outs, and nobody has to ring up asking when the grass will be cut.
